Job Description:
The CI analyst assists CI manager to provide support to CEO and other corporate executives in information gathering, analysis, interpretation and presentation of corporate or BU level strategic insights. The major audiences and contact window are located in US.
 
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Continually monitor competitors, see their financial standing & business activities in a timely fashion, from SEC filing, media, 3rd party intelligence providers, or customer surveys.
- Continually monitor market across retail, IT, Internet, logistics and BPO industries, and cooperate with BI and BUs for business benchmarking.
- Provide analysis to find the market opportunity, risk, challenge, trend, issue, performance, or business tactics for company.
- Generate bi-monthly competitor analysis report.
- Draft recommendations on how analysis may translate into operational or strategic decisions.
- Follow up with BU heads for some topics with insight research and analysis.
 
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) required; MBA’s preferred.
- Financial analysis skills and related tools.
- 3+ experiences in retail or E-Commerce industry.
- Have strong knowledge within 2+ of those fields: corporate finance, business process re-engineering, marketing, logistics, CRM, SCM, user experience, or product management.
- Excellent communication skills – documentation and presentation
- Be comfortable with both routine synthesis of information and producing strategic insights. Passion in E-Commerce industry.

Job description:

1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005
2. Familiar with T-SQL
3. Familiar with ETL(SSIS)
4. Familiar with Cognos
5. Three or more years of work experience in Business Intelligence area plus a B.S.in Information Systems,Mathematics/Statistics, Software Engineering,or other science field, or equivalent experience.
6. Experience in developing KPI, Scorecards, Dashboard type of applications using Cognos Metrics Manager is an added advantage
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
